With my involvement in Skywarn, RACES and St. Louis County emergency operations, the importance of keeping abreast of current weather conditions is understandable. One of the best tools I have is NEXRAD radar available through Weather Underground (and other locations) on the internet.  NEXRAD tends to show storm activity very clearly and gives me a good idea of what kind of weather to expect. Of course the weather is unpredictable, but NEXRAD is very helpful.
